The trunk does not open however so when more than 1 barbie is in the car there is no room for the cooler. My 4 year old girl uses this as her car to race around with her older brother who's 5 when he races one of his cars. Not a big deal though. So far, so good after 3 weeks of having it. When she first got it and saw the cooler, I saw her sit there and try to open the trunk to put the coller in, haha, she was so cute. A good deal for the $[.]. I paid for it

Cute, but not as well-made and/or durable as the Barbie VW Beetle. The soft plastic and painted on head and rear lights make this a good and safe choice for small children to play with.
